The E in submarinfr? Dial looks redone and hands as well. Case is ok. What's the serial?

The E in submarinfr, would bug me.
I'm not an expert but I've not seen that kind of thing happen before. With my eyes I couldn't see it normally, but just knowing about it would bug me. If it's a redone dial, in fact a redone dial would make me want to look for another.

Right crown guard looks smaller/thinner than the other - the insert looks really nice.

Also at the Swiss - T , the T is also missing a serif... I don't like the shape of "L" in Rolex. Serif is unusual I'm not an expert just a couple of unusual traits, Although, in the case of a 1680 dial I owned with unusual traits all was ok. Unless this is offered at a steal, I would continue to look. ![]()

The dial font is off, and submariner is spelled wrong. Also, the hands look redone. The seller, I know, as been also selling fake cases on and off through out the years...so I'd definitely have to pass on this one.

Buy the Seller I would go back to scratch and make sure you find a buyer you can trust first. There's a thread that has some recomendations in regards to this very thing: http://www.rolexforums.com/~trfcom/s...d.php?t=180461
