New GMT arrived at AD today

Here's a quick & dirty cell phone pic of my son's birthday present, I must say that the watch is absolutely stunning, the case, trip-lock, the polished links, extra heft, bezel, clasp etc is all just so WOW!!, I had preferred the TT until this morning but what with the polished centre links it damn near is TT, I'm gonna want one now.

You guys will think I'm nuts, I was so "kid in candy-store" I didn't even check to see if it was a M series

Its back to RSC Bexley now to be engraved, should take about a week & I'll share some decent pics with you guys.

Cool!

I'm sure he'll treasure it always.

Chris, I just sent you a PM with some questions about engraving. I'm planning on giving my son an Explorer for his college graduation present in a couple of years and have some questions about engraving I hope you can answer.

Chris, for some reason the PM hasn't shown up in my inbox.

If you don't mind, could you just post the exchange here? The reason I sent the PM in the first place was I didn't know if you were comfortable talking about the engraving for some reason. I certainly don't mind sharing if you don't.

For the edification of others, I sent Chris a PM asking about his experience with engraving because I plan to give my son an engraved Explorer for his college graduation present. I asked Chris a) what's the turnaround time for having RSC engrave the watch; b) what's the limit on number of characters (I want to engrave my son's name, his college and class, and "Love, Mom & Dad" and am not sure all that will fit on a caseback) and c) what was the cost.

Thanks!
