Where do I stand?
Hi fellow Rolex'ers!
A year ago I purchased a one-month old 116610LV Sub from a fellow rolexforums member in London. The watch came complete with all paperwork, box etc. The rolex warranty card is made out in the original buyer's name. The watch has been fantastic with no problems at all, but I am wondering where I stand regarding the warranty? It has just under a year left to run... and if it did need a service with RSC would they honour the warranty, giving that it's in the original buyer's name - and I don't have the original receipt, either?? I reside in the USA now, so I would be contacting one of the US RSCs if that makes any difference. I appreciate the advice in advance! |

Lots of discussions on this topic.
In the US, the response of the RSC is inconsistent. Many locations say the warranty is not transferrable to a new owner. Some will honor it. You just have to call and ask. In all likelihood, you won't need the warranty. |
