considering a trade - yikes!

i just saw a great sub 5508 which is in amazing shape - thinking of trading my redline plus cash -- am i nuts?

Well do what you feel. If you really think that the watch is in great condition and you really want it then trade it.

that's true frostie, i don't have much in terms of gilt dials in my collection. i just feel that with the DRSD i hardly give the redline wrist time

I'd trade it if it was something I wanted. I wouldn't trade it for any current model Rolex, but that's a 5508. Besides, slap a nato strap on it and you'll have a vintage watch that 007 would be proud to wear. Very cool indeed.
