I wonder if we'll ever here if it is real or fake.
OJ says it cost $125, but he is a lying SOB, not to mention a murderer. In case you have not read the article; it's supposed to be a solid gold sub. |

If I'm not mistaken, was he found "NOT GUILTY" of the murder charges, but found guilty in the wrongful death civil case. Big difference.

No, it doesn't take an attorney to know that he commited double homicide. The ENTIRE country knows it's true.

The local news showed a picture of the watch on his arm while he had on the jailhouse clothes a few weeks ago. It was a SS Black Sub and looked a little beat up; like he had owned it for a long time.
I seriously doubt their estimates of it's value.

I don't see where the article says it's a gold watch.

I wouls hope that at one time the infamous oj (doesn't deserve cap's) would have had enough style & class to have a genuine Rolex, but now he should not be allowed to have anything but 3 squares in an 8 x 8 cement box. (IMHO of course)

I heard, the judge made him try on the "Real Rolex"
It didn't fit, so he handed over the fake one.

I am an attorney, in fact a criminal defense attorney, and even so I have no doubt whatsoever that Simpson butchered Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman.
And to reiterate from a previous thread a few weeks ago, yes Simpson was acquitted in his criminal trial but he was subsequently found to be responsible for their wrongful deaths in his civil trial. Not by hiring someone else to do it for him. Not by being the despicable human being that he is. But by personally stabbing and slashing two innocent people to death, one of whom had never even met the guy but who just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. That was the evidence presented at both trials. The State of California was unable to prove it beyond a reasonable doubt, but the lawyers for Ms. Simpson's and Mr. Goldman's estates were able to prove it by a preponderance. That's why Ron Goldman's father is pursuing Simpson to the ends of the earth, including every golf course in America. If Simpson had done that to my son or daughter, at a minimum I'd do the same. I owe both of them at least that much.

Fake? Figures.
Yeah, I wondered why "innocent" OJ was running around with a wig and a bag full of cash in his infamous BRONCO ESCAPADE.
Don't need to be a lawyer, because easy to conclude that the police + prosecution + judge made a fine mess and turned it into a circus. Leave it to OJ to be wearing a fake thing that poses as a "Rolex", another true testament to his "class", for sure. Thank reason and goodness that Ron Goldman is a decent man, in other parts of the world........or with the wrong father; and OJ would be in his next life. |

The fact that OJ did or did not do it does not change the fact that he was found not guilty by a jury of his peers. It really doesn't matter if he killed them or not now in the legal sense.
If they really wanted to get him for the murders couldn't the federal government charge him with the murders? (double jeopardy does not apply in that case) Or is murder by itself not a federal offense? (ie do they have to be a federal employee or something) |

I watched that piss poor prosecution and Van Natter run around with the blood vials, and watched the socks disappear from the original video of the bedroom, and then appear later in the alley. I watched Fuhrman, now newly recreated into one of those ("fair and balanced", ahem) Fox Journalists make the comments he did.
The poor prosecution was really paralyzed because our society does not convict people on such poor evidence, and so the jury did its thing. I am just a civil trial lawyer and have not done criminal law, but I would not have convicted either on that mess of evidence. I felt bad for the prosecution at that trial, and my law partner who has done many multi million dollar trials, said that it would be an acquittal. Now the problem is that the same trend continues. Good for the Goldmans if they get something. Bad if they try to do it with a bunch of low lifes who cannot really make a case for them....aws |

I just heard on our evening news that O.J.'s "Rolex" was returned because it is a Chinese fake. Figures.
