I personally have the SS SUB C, I think it depends on what you wear to work every day. I don't wear a suit everyday. My job is more casual and i enjoy the outdoor waters so i went with the sub C. The daytona is more classy i feel like, i would like that next but i got a sub for everyday.

What day is it today? That is my answer. For me, I never have a need for the chronograph function, but the need date quite often.
Stainless is always a good choice in a sports watch. However, if the gold is calling you go for it.

If you already got a Sub, why spend $$$$$ something similar?
Go for a Daytona to add a different flavour to your collection! |

The best one for you, is the one you like the most.
As said try them all on, and go with the one that makes you smile the most.

Sub-c date for me. Both are great watches, which one sings to you more.
I personally wanted/needed the date. |

It's just a matter of time before you get both, so you might as well just pick one.
Both super comfortable, good looking and classic Rolex. The other will follow soon enough |

I do have both. Sub c i weardaily, daytona - only for occasions. If gounwear suits at work - go for daytona, if you wear more jeans - go for sub. If i shoul choose i would pick up sub c. Daytona is okay for second more classy watch.

since you already have a blue sub, ss daytona might be a good option for variety.

SubC especially if you will wear this watch most of the time. IMHO a watch without a date won't cut it at all especially if I'm wearing it to work. I like the sub more anyway.

Sub C hands down. The only watch I'll ever own. :)
Though I understand why people start these types of threads (I'm guilty of it too), the only way you will ever be satisfied with your choice is to try each watch on personally. You will know which is for you the moment you put it on and get that "medusa syndrome" where you just stop thinking and just stare for a prolonged period of time.... |

I own both. I wear the SubC far more often. Get the SubC if you have to choose just one.
