Congrats on a great watch. As for AD's getting dropped by Rolex--they been dropping like flies.

They did not tell him why, they just sent a letter and to return everything except the watches he had. He followed all of their rules so it was most likely he is just too small time for them.

Too bad for your friend Robert.
Just out of curiosity, what other high end brands is he left with? |

Congrats. Any ideas on why Rolex pulled the plug? After 30 years that is just crazy!

Years ago he thought there was loyalty, a couple months ago they pulled his parts account and he realized that was not the case. They did not tell him why he lost his AD status, but a lot of changes were made within the company.
The person responsible for supplying his region (meaning what watches he would get and how much he had to spend) was fired and replaced so that did not help. Aside from that they just seem to just not want these small town dealers anymore, after they took his AD status away they did not replace him with some other store in the area. There is no AD within 100 miles of him. |
