Help! GMTiic date font!

Hey guys. I was looking at my gmt and I know for a fact already the cyclops is a bit crooked. My AD confirmed that it was 100% slightly slightly off as well. I am also wondering if the date of the watch is not centered correctly. I look under the cyclops at the date and it appears that the date sits a little high up. Maybe its supposed to look like this Im not sure. Maybe and hopefully im crazy butplease give me your insight I have bad ocd with watches.

Not so sure the cyclops itself is crooked so much as the crystal needs to be rotated about 1-1.5* clockwise

Where is the etched crown in relation to the 6:oo marker?

I'd say a trip to RSC isn't a bad idea...

The watchmaker at Mayors my AD said it would have to be sent out Im not sure why it seems like it would be an easy fix.

This the mayors at boca town center? If so, I'm somewhat surprised, as from what I was told they have the equipment there to do basic maintenance... Though I suppose this might not count as basic maintainance *shrug*

I'd probably go with what he says and send it to RSC only because I'm not sure an AD sees this kind of thing often enough to properly diagnose/fix the issue.

No the Mayors at Dadeland Mall in Kendall. Its such a simple fix but it bothers me so bad!

The cyclops is crooked and the date look to be off center on the high side. This would drive me crazy as well. Get it looked after by RSC.

From your photos the date does look like its sitting a bit high in the date aperture. I can't really tell about the cyclops.

It would bother me too. I would go the RSC route, particularly if it's under warranty.

Dunno if it's me but the cyclops looks fine.
However, the date does look to be sitting a
Little high.

The cyclops is indefintey 100% crooked. I didn't notice until a couple weeks ago. I think the sapphire needs to be slightly rotated Clockwise

I have the sme watch nd did my best to compare your pics with my watch. I think our cyclops is off a bit. I would send it in for repair by RSC.

Ya it's pretty ridiculous. The sapphire wasn't crooked until it was replaced due to a chip

Think I'm going to go RSC guns blazin and demand a brand new gmt iic and a white gold sky dweller for my inconvenience. A 44 magnum is more persuasive than any words I can think of lol

I can't stand it when a cyclops is crooked, however I have seen at least a dozen in AD's some way worse than yours.

The date wheel would really really annoy me though because that is totally sloppy.

At least both things are fixable.

Sad to see it got to the point you sold it, but now it's over with I guess.

Definitely the date wheel is misaligned, compounded by a misfit cyclops. Both easily fixed though.
