Do you wear your Rolex all the time?
This may have been already posted, but how many hours per day do you wear your Rolex?
Do you wear it in the shower? Do you wear it to bed? Mine usually comes off for a shower and for bed, I have tried to wear it to bed I end up taking it off in the middle of the night.

24/7/365. That's the fun of it! And I do wear it swimming every night here in Texas!

Sometimes - wear my watch when showering to rinse perspiration, wife off, then put on another watch and wear to bed. Never had any issues.

Mine comes off for sport, sleep and usually for showers. Otherwise it's on my wrist.

Wearing it all the time can take the magic away and indeed it does for me. We all want variety in our watches. I like wearing cheap beaters also and when I see them take a beating, I take a sigh of relief that it is not one of my Rolexes. Putting on a Rolex after a few weeks of not wearing it, makes me appreciate it that much more.

I wear mine from times to times (in rotation with my other watches) but I take it off for showers and in bed (I agree with the fact that there's no point in wearing a watch in those situations).

I wear most of my watches the same way, which is all day long, except when I work on my car. Too easy to get them scratched/dented up good and they also get in the way.
If I bring it with me in the shower it is because it will be washed. I sometime sleep with my watch on. Sometimes because I just fall asleep. Sometimes because the watch will get a bit of winding (I am a fairly active sleeper). Sometimes because I just feel like it. In the past I wore my Omega SMP 24/7. Just became a habit. Quote:

Same for me. However, there is a certain poignant melancholy experienced when I place the watch on the bedside table, and an exuberant rush when I fasten it around my wrist upon rising in the morning. Absence truly does make the heart grow fonder.

I wear a watch 24-7. Rolex or SMP. Sometime vintage.
As far as bed goes. Yes either SD or SMP which are very easy to read in the dark. |

I can relate to this. For me, it's kind of like a bookmark at the beginning and end of every day. And the fun of putting it on each new morning is greater than the disappointment of taking my watch off of my wrist each evening before bed.

I used to wear mine to bed then as I got older I couldn't see what time it was anyway!! And now that I'm retired....who cares!? Seriously, I remove it (TT DJ) when I sleep, shower or am doing some sort of work around the house or yard that might pose a risk.

Times I don't wear mine: in water (shower, swim, etc.), sleeping, working out, playing sports. I typically don't wear a watch on weekends until I get ready to leave the house. Often times when I get home for work I will take off my watch. I also take off my watch when visiting with certain people (I don't want to throw my Rolex in their face, when they don't splurge on any material items).

16610LV: 24/7, shower and bed included. I plan to service it every 5years to change gaskets.
BUT I wear a seiko for travelling, and a casio for mountainbike, running and climbing.
