Show us your DIRTY Rolex!
Well, guys!
We always see very nice pics of Rolex watches here, all shiny and new and polished! But let's face it! In everyday life, your Rolex watches do not look as neat as the pics tell, do they? So let's see the your Rolex "everyday beater" as it is, NOW, all smudged and with scratches!

No, mine are also not "dirty", but normal everyday "smudge" etc. also counts.
Yeah, wearing them or taking them off shortly to photograph it. Just show some "quick and dirties", please! NO cheating! Show them as they are. Don't worry if the pics are not the best of quality! Here's my SS Daytona after 13 hours of office work (its first day at work, btw.). Taken just NOW: DSC00254.JPG DSC00255.JPG DSC00256.JPG

Not exactly dirty but it's the best I have. There is some dirt under all the water trust me.
As far as scratches this one got my attention. The pics as usual don't do it justice. |

Inside a diving bell, the divers live in an atmosphere that consists of various gasses, including a high percentage of Helium. The TINY Helium molecules that are in the atmosphere inside diving bells can enter the watch, but during decompression there would be a risk of the crystal popping off the watch since those HE gasses want to get out again. The HEV makes sure that those gasses are released without harming the watch during decompression.

Does this count?
Not a current pic but shows the 'love' after about 6 years of daily wear...

Here is my daily beater that is in the RSC getting a dial change. I wear it for everything, swimming, helping my brother train for the New York marathon, diving gardening, you name it is does it. It is a lot worse now and all my polished centre links and clasp have a few minor scratches.

I enjoy seeing well worn and scratches Rolexes. If I want to see unscratches Rolex then I go to the AD to look at them. Character rules

Just a few scratches here, Bo. But it's only been a little less than a month of abuse!

Actually looks nice, Leighton!
I guess I shouldn't be so afraid of scratching those polished surfaces after all.
