I defer to my friends on this forum for my fourth =)
Ok - so the cream EXP has become impossible for me to source at this moment in time, and the PP is nowhere on the open market used. However, those are still two that I am looking for.
But I'm a WIS and I need my fix. My collection is listed below, however I had an interesting talk with my AD and I have a hard choice: I can get either the EXP II white or the SUBLVc, both at a discount (not big enough for my liking but still good and a few hundred below used prices). The EXPII is almost 1100 cheaper than the green sub. I see a lot of green subs going for 7700-7800, without divulging price and pissing off my AD, this one is cheaper. Price isn't a huge concern, but I want to get something that fits my collection; and my watch winder is sad with one empty spot all the time. Im scared the 42mm will be too big for my wrist which I believe now is 6.5 inches. Is the LVc too blingy? Should I go with the old LV (which might actually be MORE expensive than the EXPII im thinking of). Help guys, im drowning in choices! |

You're on a wonderful roll! I say hold out for the Patek you want! If you are aggressive enough you will find it! The 216570 and the 116610 will be around! Since you asked from those two I would go Sub! If it was the black dial 216570 then I would have voted that way!

LVc. It is truly "unique" and mesmerizing! My favorite current Rolex next to a WG or Plat DDII. The president bracelet is so nice. Sorry to add a different watch to the post.

None of the above. What for the cream dial instead.

I voted Exp-II but then I thought about the size and it wouldn't do for me...I'd go with the LVc!

The LVc is not to large for your wrist. My wrist is only 6" and the watch fits fine.

Would definately be the LVc for me. However 42 mm looks fine on a 6.5 inch wrist in my opinion !

What Patek are you looking for? I say get the PP first whatever it is. I thought that this would be the natural choice given your screen name. Your are good problems to have...

I'd go for the LVc personally. I'm a sucker for the green bezel.

I voted Explorer because I dont know what LV stands for... Now that I know it was referring to a Sub c, I am all for the Sub... Never liked the Explorer.

Hard one to decide!
Since I am a Submariner fan, I'd go with the Sub!
