Hmm...that's interesting.

Not wild about the blue, and kinda looks like SS.

But that is the first time I have seen it (interesting they did not group it with the other 44mm on site).

Looks like Bogdan has a new one to buy

Can't imagine the price on is one, but I really like it. Bet it's super heavy though.

If it is 85k+, then I'll add some more cash to get the beautiful RB2 Platinum.

I've seen this watch in the wild. I was so trance that I was about to asks the gentlemen out for a date.....lol so kidding. I was at Neiman Marcus in Houston and I thought he had the SS 44mm ROOC and once I figure out the SS version doesn't come in a blue dial it all made sense as the glare from the platinum was amazing in the fresh. I did compliment his watch and he said that he had to fly to Europe to buy it. I believe this watch goes for a little over $100k but Thomas would know.

Thomas, you are simply incredible!

That's a great looking watch, I prefer rose gold myself but the brushed platinum looks amazing!

The pic is taken by my friend when visited SIHH earlier this year.
The wight should be about the same as the RB2 in Pt which is heavy to say the least.

If memory serves me correct it was over 100k

That is one hefty price tag. Not in love with the blue, but still an absolutely stunning piece.

Just came across this thread. This watch is now 'only' $69,200 at the NY boutique. Happy hunting.

No idea, but it is fiendishly heavy and it felt a lot heavier than my Novelty Rose Gold, which was already a heavy watch.

Indeed - I reserved mine on 29th January when the rumour surfaced and then collected after 1st Feb; the dealer wanted to know how I knew. Thanks TRF!!

Platinum probably as I love heavy watches, and it is a bit less "in yer face" than the rose gold ROOs but I like both of course. Actually I sort of regret selling the Novelty Rose Gold a little - that's a lovely watch as well.

When people 'round here refer to the "novelties" do they mean the 44mm chronos? So the platinum novelty everyone's talking about is the one in this thread?

I agree, which is why I picked up the RG Schumi and didn't try to find a platinum one!!!
