Stay away from Watchstyle.com

I'm not usually one to complain, but I felt the membership should be warned:

I had ordered a watch strap from watchstyle.com, and after I hadn't received it for a month I inquired if the strap had been shipped. I received short responses stating that it had been shipped the same day. When I further requested a tracking number, the response I received only said "YOU ARE BANNED". Quite frankly I was shocked to receive such an email, especially after being a repeat customer and being very polite with my emails.

After receiving that response, I did a quick google search of reviews for watchstyle, and found multiple reviews from different customers who had similarly rude experiences.

In the future, I certainly won't hesitate to send my money to any one of their competitors the next time I'm in need of a watch strap....

Here is an email quote I received from them:

"Dude, we know you cannot afford retail price for high-end product, that's why you beg for discount. What a loser you are, pathetic!"

and also:

"Same as for you sucker friend: THIS IS NOT FOR YOU. Try ebay, walmart, whatever. You are banned for your life time."

Well at least they have a friendly approach, they called you dude and all...

What a mediocre customer service, I will stay far away from anything related to them!

...Oh, heck, I'll just make it easier and ask Raf to include my name in his e-mail so I can get banned as well!

is this from Michael kares himself? I have talked to a few German folks on the net and on various forums, but to me, this is the first German that actually communicate with the word "dude."

please correct me if I am wrong, but this person sounds like an American to me.

The email address from the sender was "info@watchstyle.com". I have no idea where it came from. I copied and pasted his words directly from the email, they appear in my post VERBATIM. It would be stupid of me to misquote or slander someone in a public forum by lying about what they said, not to mention possible legal liability. And do you really think the word "DUDE" is exclusive to California?

Sorry to hear of your experience.

I certainly won't be sending any funds to them.

They sound like a bunch of punks.

After checking out this site I also set about to see if there were other bits out there complaining about the service...holy moly. Looks like there were half a dozen other forums out there talking about how horrible Watchstyle.com is so it's definitely not an isolated case. Even back in 2009 from what I could see from my quick search they were responding to customers like this. They shouldn't be in business if this is the way they are handling their customers.

Hard to believe they are still in business,it must be a hobby for the owner,Michael Kares.

I don`t think Michael cares.

this company is not as usual as you shopping online, after you placed an order, you won't hear anything(order confirmation, tracking#) until you see your package luckily, the straps are ok,Butterfly Buckle that i bought is way too light,it says it made of ss on their website, and marked ss on it,but it feels like plastic made, and be aware, there is addition charge when you order from outside of Germany,an unprofessional company in their business.

Watch Style is a ripoff

They did the exact same thing to me. I contacted them about my order after three weeks. They responded with "we don't want your service". WTH. I just wanted to know where my band was. This is how they react to customers. I will never use them again. They take your money and no delivery.
