2012 Rolex Submariner Shark

Got a good deal on a Sub-C.

Got a deal for a WG ceramic bezel inlay.

Went for it, dream combination in my eyes.

There are actually more pictures, also with the 114060, if you search for subjects containing Shark.

This combination was not my idea. I just took the rare opportunity.

Yes I agree, that is an excellent combination.

The blue bezel goes exceedingly well with the black dial.

Congrats!!!

Looks Very nice. I am considering doing the same thing, but a Green dial w/ black Bezel. Will a AD do this for me? Or better yet, can I order this color combination from Rolex thru my AD?

No. The blue bezel insert was meant for a higher end Rolex model, so an AD will unlikely be willing to do it. It's like putting a Mercedes emblem on your SMART car. The dealer doesn't sell it like that, but you can buy a Mercedes emblem off of ebay and glue it onto your SMART car. I actually saw one like this driving to work today.

The Sub does look nice with this color combination though.

green dial / black bezel

Take a look at these photos from the url http://market.watchprosite.com/?show...20Green%20Dial!!!!! . Am I correct to assume an AD or Rolex themselves did not authorize or do this black bezel / green dial combination?

I believe I read from a different thread that Rolex would permit a swapping of dial/bezels IF it was a like kind exchange. clearly, this excludes the blue bezel/dial white gold version, but what about a swapping of the hulk dial and black bezel as in the above example?

The blue inlay is off the LB Submariner and an original ceramic spare part.

I'd like to do the same thing with the green inlay on a steel submariner if I can get one. But never seen them in any offer.

This looks awesome. Huge fan of it. If I ever got a Sub, I'd try to do this with it.

I'm actually thinking of getting a black dial for my 116613LB - However 4 colors might just be too much... Looking Good BTW

Green dial and black bezel is a great looking combo. Its discreet from afar, but when you take a closer look the green dial is striking.
