What is the little design opposits side crown
I've seen a few watches with what looks like...a digital barcode on the opposite of the crown (newer watches only). I have my DJ Duece that doesn't have it, but i've seen the same model (no clue serial number) that does. What are those for/from/purpose?
At first I thought that was the random serial number setup when I first heard that phrase (but have since been edumakated). Just curious is all. |

I guess it could be, but I thought they looked engraved. I didn't look "real" close though at the pictures.

Are you referring to this as the 'bar code' ? If so, then it is on my new 116610lv and honestly I don't know how to decipher that. Looks like it is on the sticker which is yet to be peeled off

Man, doesn't look like a sticker on this one:
https://www.rolexforums.com/showthre...ighlight=slate I take it back...I looked and I guess there is a LOT of plastic around and it could easily be in the plastic. Thanks for the info. |

Maybe not from the camera angle, but that's exactly what it is.

In an inebriated state it got a tattoo.
Fortunately, it is just a stick on tattoo.
