Rolex warranty

If I as a Canadian purchase a Rolex from the U.S.A. that has the warranty papers from a U.S. AD, is that warranty honoured in Canada as well? Thanks for any help you can offer.

Your difficulty will be getting across the border...not with Rolex RSC if warranty service is needed.

Yes, I understand that I cannot sell and ship a Rolex from Canada into the U.S. but I as a Canadian can purchase a Rolex from the U.S. and have it shipped to Canada at which time I pay duty etc. So if I have a watch that originated in the U.S. and I have a service problem here in Canada, can I not send it in to a Rolex service centre here in Canada?

Doug, you'd have no issue sending it to the RSC in Toronto. Your warranty is international and valid anywhere in the world.

What problem are you having with your watch? Keep in mind as well, the international warranty is only valid for 2 years from purchase date.

I recently walked in a Tudor Heritage Chrono to the RSC in Beverly Hills, for warranty service (the watch was originally purchased in Italy), and had no issues whatsoever receiving warranty service.......as has been said, the International Rolex warranty is good at any RSC in the world, so don't be concerned!

I recently had the bezel on my GMT jam (due sand) whilst in Indonesia. I popped into the RSC in Singapore and they sorted it no problem (the watch bought originally in the UK).

It really does do what it says on the tin, 'International Warranty'!

Thanks for the input, I feel better about things now. No I'm not having any problem but I am looking at adding another Rolex to the family. It will likely come from the U.S. and IF it has any warranty left (used watch) I wanted to know whether the warranty would be honoured here in Canada. I gather from your replies ther would be no problem. I'm trying to decide which Rolex would be a good purchase for me now to start a small collection. I have a GMT 2 which I just bought a month and a half ago (new from an AD) but from here on I would look at slightly used from one of the trusted sellers on this forum. Thanks again
