...just sharing my conversation with AD
Last evening while driving back I made a 'follow up call' to my trusted AD (service on SO's watch and questions on new toys) and she mentioned some interesting things (which to my SO mean squat , but I am sure it will be interesting to my WIS friends.....)
-First, there is green milgauss with 'my name on it', as well as a titanium Panerai (177) (what would you do???) -Next, we are talking about pricing for a RG ceramic Daytona (that will get me in trouble...again!) -The 'green' milgauss is following the 'desired trend' in Rolex products. They get a handful per year, even if they (now a Rolex boutique) ask for more. According to them, one of the hardest Rolex watches to get. -SS Daytona is still a grail; they get a few watches but commented that they get DAILY calls from people asking for one. She is surprised how, even now, the SS Daytona has its 'power'. Well, here you go. Just sharing with my friends on a hectic Thursday morning. Have a great day! |

Milgauss for sure. Just not a Panerai guy. Love the GV Milgauss.

Milgauss over a Ti PAM. Against a steel PAM would be a harder pick... depending on model
Don't believe the hype about the GV... it's a regular production model and not hard to find. My local ADs have them available all the time, often sitting in the window displays
