jlc duometre a quantieme lunaire 40.5 rg or de bethune db27 titan hawk

hi all...its holiday season again!and that means...an excuse to indulge!
have the 2 watches above for consideration!managed to try the jlc today, however, my regular salesguy still hasnt received the db27 yet..probably around xmas,he tells me.
i know the watches differ in material, complications, and probably everything else, with the only similarity being it telling the time and date...but which of the above would you choose?and why!

p.s: as for pricing issues, even though the de bethune has a higher retail price, ive managed to be able to get 40% off retail for the db27, and around 26% off the jlc..thus after discounts, they are roughly within usd$2k of each other(jlc being more expensive in the end!!)

pics of both!pics of the titan hawk courtesy of hodinkee.com!

De Bethune will always get my vote in most comparisons.

sorry but the JLC ~1/6 second hand makes me anxious, looking at it kind of freaks me out.

aside from that the JLC is a really good looking watch and looks great on your wrist!

Although I love DB my vote goes to this JLC, it's just too beautiful!

I prefer the JLC just beacause I really like that watch.

De Bethune is another league, more interesting than JLC but I do not like these cases. They look to modern. They also have more classic cases and watches

See these

DB1 CHRONO : http://www.bruno-wristwatches.blogsp...20monopoussoir

DB15 PERPETUAL :http://www.bruno-wristwatches.blogsp...Bethune%20DB15

These De Bethune are amazing, but like said the case makes imo the difference
And the one you talk about is the toher style, so I would take the JLC if I had to choose between your 2 watches

JLC, but that watch looks a little large on you (it looks like the lugs over hang your wrist) in those shots. Only you know what it looks like in person.

Another vote for the Duo! I am patiently waiting to see how my 42mm will fare since Jaeger decided to produce the 40.5mm version! Good luck!

40,5mm is definitely a size I would see myself wear!

Wow, I thought De Bethune would see more love on here. I guess they are a bit out there, though..

JLC. It's gold, it looks cool, and it has a nice complication.
