Water resistance test before the 2 years expire...
Hi everyone
As my 15300 is on it's way, I wanted to validate couple of things with you. Watch has been originally sold June 2011, so this coming june, it will be 2 years old. I have read on the AP website that if it is sent to the APSC for testing water resistance, they give a 3rd year of warranty. Questions I had is 1: is it recommended to do anything else, I suppose no but ... 2: will they refresh the case, bezel and bracelet to bring it to a like new ? 3: how long does it take ? Reason I am asking is that the watch I got is pre-owned with some little marks on the bezel that I would like them removed at the same time, really nothing to worry about but just wanted your input. Cheers, |

Haven't sent mine in yet, so can't say how long it would take, but others will chime in I'm sure. As for getting some touch-ups done to the bracelet snd bezel, IIRC there is a cost for that listed on the AP website.

Thanks for the feedback.
Will see what is in the box and register the watch to get all papers and stickers so I can send it in before expiration of the 2 years period. |

sounds like its different in US.
I've just registered my watch on the AP website and waiting for the papers and sticker in the post. Once I get the papers I can take my watch and wait while they do the pressure test which i've been told only take 30 minutes. Def makes sense to wait to nearly 2 years before you get the 3rd year |

1. I'd leave it and just do the WR service B1 2. No they won't, I would reccomend you to wait with polishing for your first service. 3. 2-6 weeks depending how piled up they are.

Thanks for the fedback. Just so I know if I have the sticker with the watch, can someone please post a picture of what it's supposed to look like ?
The wait is painful, once you know it's on it's way... |

About 4 weeks turnaround.
Sticker actually looks like the stamped page in your warranty book. They paste it into the back of the book (area for 3rd year). |

Thanks so much Mirror for the picture. Now I know what to look for in the box. If not present, I will request for it.

If the prior owner haven't registered the watch with AP you would need to do it to get the sticker.
