Rolex repairs in new York city
Apologies all if this has been discussed. I could not find it. I am looking for a shop in NYC to get an old date just serviced. Anyone have any recommendations? Thank you, joe

Why not take it directly to the Rolex Service Center?

Thank you. We bought it used in Memphis years ago and it has aftermarket band. Rolex dealers won't touch it

I can highly recommend Mr. Ju S Kim of Star watch repair. He is a quiet man that will tell you that you are better off taking it to Rolex, as he did when I took my Tudor Chrono to him.
Based on many positive reviews, I insisted that he service it. The results were fantastic. He charges around $300 for a full movement service and cleaning (maybe a bit higher for Rolex, I never serviced a Rolex with him). His new location is inside a shoe shine shop on 30th between Madison and Park, but don't be fooled, he is a real trained watchmaker and I think it is a pity that he mostly does battery changes. |
