Rolex Sky-Dweller, Good God!
Saw it weeks ago and at first thought it was some sort of horrific fake Rolex spin off straight from the depths of a Bangkok market.
Seems I was wrong, very wrong. What an amazing looking watch, especially in YG. People agree? Anyone know the retail (ball park)

I think for the YG, price is somewhere north of 40K?

I saw the RG and it was stunning. I didn't have the kahonies to ask if I could try it on, though. It's way out of my league in terms of price.

I think it's absolutly stunnin'...!!
For me the nicest one is the white gold version, but just my taste cause i like it not to be so "flashy" . And the price, absolutly out of my league.... But dreaming about it can't hurt..! |

And what does one do if they already have the Patek's they desire? That comment is getting old quick!

Jokes aside, I think this watch has a somewhat unorthodox design compared to the other Rolex models but nonetheless I find it quite impressive and very beautiful! Funny thing is, my yellow gold enthusiast self prefers the white gold version of this one (although, mind you, they're all very nice) , very sharp looking!

Anyway for me there is no fun in bashing a timepiece as there is something for everyone! Why have a collection of just Patek's when one can own a balanced collection of complicated pieces across the varied brands especially Rolex for entering into Patek and Vacheron territory with their first annual calendar... Still excited for what the future will bring! I am going to go back to enjoying all forms of horology and leave the complaints to other folks! OP, to answer your question in the Americas the Rolex retail prices are as follows... RG : $39,550 USD YG : $46,150 USD WG : $48,850 USD

This would be my choice as well. Either a Patek or an ALS for this amount of money.

Since its unveiling at Basel last year, the passage of time and the opportunity to see it first hand has not changed my original opinion of it.
It's a technically interesting piece, but I have a hard time reconciling having an annual calendar without a day function and find the aesthetics unappealing. It does please me (and Rolex!) that people have the completely opposite opinion to mine though. Variety makes life interesting. |

It had a rough start when it was introduced but has drawn a lot of positive attention lately

I saw the Rose Gold at a local AD. I liked it, but I would rather see the Yellow or White Gold. One of those two may be my grail...

Love the Everose and choc combo but not a fan of the fluted bezel.
