New Shoes - Leather Strap Pr0N

I love NATO straps and have a bunch I switch between daily & play watches but was looking for the right leather one. Just received a new Horween Shell Cordovan Zulu strap I ordered from Myron / RoverHaven Straps for the Tudor. Check him out, great guy! Great price for Horween

Awesomely comfortable, great fit, hand stitched, extremely satisfied , incredibly simple & understated, and see this strap spending time on the 1675 (when finished).

Couple shots:

I have no affiliation other than being referred to him and buying a strap & being satisfied ...

Nice, that's a great strap! I have one watch on a nylon NATO, but for the most part, if it's not a metal bracelet, it's gotta be shell cordovan for me. It's damn near the perfect watchband material in my mind, and they only get more comfortable as they wear in...I'll have to check out Roverhaven; thanks for sharing! And Go Pats.

Hi there.

What you see on the underside of the shell is the Horween Shell Cordovan logo stamped on the shell. Horween does this to protect their brand and your value. I pick out all the shells that I use for straps myself right at the tannery.

I want to thank Linesiders for the B-U-tiful pictures. Very nicely done.

Kind Regards to All,

Myron

Yes, Go PATS!

He was great, walked me through specifying the strap out with options on length, keepers, buckle, etc, and still well under$100. Not sure if I can post his email - so if this is in bad taste one of the mods can remove it: roverhaven@gmail.com (I don't spam or shill for people but will always pass along a pleasant experience).

The writing on the back of the strap is "Horween Shell Cordovan" which is how they stamp the inside of the leather - I borrowed this from their site:

Thanks - they are way up in the upper reaches of my lousy photo skills. If it wasn't for a Gorilla Tripod & a 2 second delay they would be too fuzzy.

great looking watch! Congrats on the new strap.

I'm also using a Horween leather strap from The Time Traveller and a matching Horween single flap wallet from Makr.com

Looks great. I've been looking for a Horween Shell Cordovan Zulu strap. Can't seem to find a RoverHaven website to find more samples of his straps.

I don't think he has a site, really a one man shop but communication and images were really good. He posts over on MWR (where I saw it). His email is roverhaven@gmail.com .

Thanks. Just spent some change on some straps, so I should probably wait before I get more. He'll be at the top of my list when I'm ready though.

Ask away when you are ready. This is my first Horween strap and it is incredibly comfortable, even outside when it was 14F (-10C) yesterday not including the 25kt "breeze" (-5F windchill)

If Myron has a place where we can look at pics, I'd like to know. That looks nice. I like the Zulu without the extra leather though.

Awesome pics! Thanks for taking the time to share. I'm thinking about getting the same 1-piece Zulu strap but in classic "Color 8" for my Sub.

Myron's straps seem like the best deal out there right now for Cordovan straps.. might have to get a 2-piece in Natural too..
