Ow how I luv my 114060

I have decided to get rid of my hulk as my 114060 is my favorite watch ever.i wear it everyday and I love the simplicity yet the wow factor at the same time.i get so many comments on it and I can't stop looking at it all day long.as much as I love the hulk it just doesn't get the wrist time and I think I am gonna be a one watch guy.i bought the hulk for 8200 in July and it's in mint condition and I have a guy who is gonna pay me 8200 for it so why not?i went from 4 to 3 to 2 and now 1 the ultimate 1 in my eyes.if the hulk came in a no date then that would be the ultimate but for now the 114060 is it.sorry for the ramble but I figured only the people here would understand what im saying.

Congrats on the 114060. I flipped my LN for the 114060. I somewhat understand your situation. I could see keeping a green and a black model but my two were too similar for me to personally justify keeping both. Although there are a ton of folks on here with multiple subs and sea dwellers.

The No Date Sub C is my favorite Rolex diver. And I've had the SD, 16610, 14060. Didn't bother with the DSSD because I think it's too big.

Love the symmetry most of all, maxi dial, and bracelet/clasp which is fantastic. I used to dislike the shiny ceramic bezel ( and still prefer the aluminum) and wider lugs. But, I've gotten used to them.

Totally understand what you are saying. I think it's great to have such an attraction and bond with a particular watch. Enjoy it for a long time!

I would do the same. Just can't go wrong with the classic sub. Never tire of it.

I'd like to post a question:

What is it about the "no date" that people keep mentioning it as "the ultimate" watch?

I love the sub line - but given the choice of a "date" feature, that's the one I'd prefer to buy.

It is simple with beautifully balanced symmetry. The 114060 is my one watch as well and I really like it.

Maybe because the very first Submariner was without a date? Just guessing

any submariner model will always be a great choice

Loving mine

The 114060 rocks. I'm missing mine now just thinking about it. Need to go by the bank on Monday to pick her up. She's been resting to long in that safety deposit box!

The 114060 must command more attention as I have been wearing my 14060m for the last 12 months with very little 3rd party attention.
