Daytona not rare anymore?
I just visited Sarasota, to both Armel locations and the Mayors location. All had 2 or more Daytonas, in fact, the Armel had a giant billboard a mile away on the main drag with a humongous photo of a Daytona. A damn nice watch.
Interestingly, Mayors had a 20 month no interest financing option.

No SS Daytonas are for sale in Sarasota. I have a very nice TT Daytona that is for sale.....you can get any model other than a 116520 at MSRP or better.

I'm sure the Marketing Dpaertment at Rolex HQ in Geneva reads all the posts on the Daytona that is published on this site and they rub their hands in glee! If anyone is due for a bonus, it's these guys!! Job well done boys!! Conspiracy Theories are running HOT!!!

I wish that was the case in Dallas. I haven't heard from my AD about the SS Daytona and it has been a few months. And the other ADs that I have been too will only sell to preferred customers.

I am pretty sure these "SS Daytona's" that everyone thinks they are seeing, are actually WG Daytonas. I have been fooled from a distance...many times myself. :)

I stopped in several Rolex dealers on my recent trip to Vegas. Most said no SS Daytonas, but one dealer said they had both a white and a black a few days before, and that they sat in the case for a couple of days before someone got them. He said they don't keep a list and just put them in the case as soon as they arrive - first come first serve. He also mentioned that several customers had tried them on and then bought more common models not knowing the difference.
