Wow David that is an absolute beauty.
It looks like the ladies equivelant of a Prince.
Instead of wearing it on the wrist, maybe it is carried in the lady's purse.
It has an absolutely beatifully numbered art deco style dial. Well done, did you have that in the family or did you just acquire it?

my wifes great grandmothers we think . It was passed over by all the family in oregon . No one could figure out how to open it I guess, who knows . It sat in my jewerly box for at least 3yrs and for some reason i thought i would investigate .

It's a 30's travel watch made by Rolex. And yes its a Prince mov't in the watch.

Beautiful condition and a great find.

no real sentimental value since it wasn't handed down , just a cool find and will probably unload if it worth anything . Any ideas of what a old watch would go for ? I can't seem to find any with the same lettering and no other markings like this one .i'm hopng there aren't many out there and a person who could truly appreciate it would want it . How many people in that era would buy a ladies travel watch ? yes they were loaded.
