Put a 5 year anniversary gift for my wife on lay away... :)
This will be quite an upgrade from the first gift I ever got her... a $400 Movado that she wears every day...
Going to have them polish the case. They are also installing a new oyster bracelet using the old clasp. Keep in mind her engagement ring is a white gold ring with two side diamonds and a jaw dropping very light blue saphire center stone. It is ALREADY killing me that I have to wait 7 more months to give it to her!!! |

Smart man. I promised my wife a Rolex for our 5th anniversary but didn't deliver until our 10th.

Please don't take this as a offense but the face is a mother of perl thingy correct? A natural meterial in oppose to a man made, so over some time shouldn't it decay?
(I don't know sorry for asking it in your thread specially when it's a anniversary present. But part of me thinks that since its a anniversary present you would want to know.) |

No offense please, I realy like the watch and diamond dials. Its stunting. I have one question about diamonds insterted in dial (not just on your watch, also for other Rolex diamond dials)
Is it OK that diamonds are not pefectly aligne on the dial between minute markers? I do not have any photos that I can compare original vs. afthermarkt, so if any expert can please give me some infos so I can learn. I checked e*ay but seller write a lot of stuff just to sell products. Please one more time dont take this offensive in any kind, I like diamond dial you have, just this little thing (alignment of diamonds) maybe botters me a little. Or maybe it is just picture angle??? |
