A little late for incoming but still have to share! [PIC HEAVY]

Hey guys! I've had this Datejust for a few weeks now, love it, and want to share some photos! I can spend minutes and minutes staring at it and when someone asks me the time I honestly couldn't tell them! Please excuse some of the grainy photos, my iPhone wasn't up to the challenge of capturing the watch's beauty.

The 16200 is a welcome addition to my little collection, and I'm thrilled to have a nice sports watch and dress watch!

The rhodium dial is just stunning, and as you can see from some of the pics, the dial integrates seamlessly with the stainless steel bezel, case, and oyster bracelet. The whole watch has a nice steel gray look which to me makes it appear classic and timeless! I really hope one day Rolex makes the DJII with Rhodium Roman!

Big thanks to Kanger for this timepiece!

Anyone else love their rhodium dial?

If you don't mind me asking... is that brand new or a previous model. I only ask because I think the combination is beautiful and wondered if the combination is currently available.

Thank you guys! This forum is awesome and because so many people contribute and have a passion for Rolex, I had to share! Maybe one of these days the DJII will have the Rhodium Roman, and then I'll have to consider trading up!

Hey, it is an older model (the 16200, F serial from 2004) but the exact same configuration is available in the 116200. Same dial, bezel, and oyster bracelet. The advantages of the new one are solid end link and solid center links whereas mine has hollow links, and it's a bit dressier with the polished center links (mine is brushed). I don't know if you can tell, but the Daytona is a 116520, which has the PCL, so maybe you can compare it. I really love the solid bracelets, they give nice heft to the watch.

Also, the newer one, IMO, has a slightly larger and more rounded bezel, which to me made the dial look a bit smaller than in the older ones. After having the Daytona and realizing just how easily it is to scratch the bezel (I'm pretty sure a dust/sand storm here in Texas has contributed a few ), I went with the 16200 because of the smaller bezel and larger appearing dial. If I could, I would add the newer bracelet but a few of my friends have mentioned it's nice to have all OEM parts from the same generation!

If anyone here has either a 16200 or 116200 with rhodium roman, I'd love to compare and discuss opinions!
