Model 9919, the Flying Saucer

In the 30s Omega produced a watch that was completely round and the fixed lug bars were hidden. Then in 1953 or so, Rolex came up with "Champs Elysees". Finally in 1960 Rolex produced one more reincarnation of this mode - model 9919.

This model differs significantly from all other Rolex models that I have seen.

Enjoy,

Vlad

Nice watch perfectly simple with no clutter. The lugs remind me of a tissot sideral

... don't know yet... but I would guess I would have to use the old style bands and glue the end pieces.
