Feeling guilty and can't sleep... Incoming ...

I simply feel guilty, I really had the AP bug and was expecting a Diver after my 15300. I ended up cheating on AP and getting a Blancpain FF instead. I had a weak moment and I ended up purchasing one... without even trying one or seeing one in the flesh. ! Delivery is tomorrow. Let's see if I trade it back in for a Diver or if it will be a new stable mate to my 15300 ;)

Let's se how much sleep I can manage to get.

I cannot wait to see it Dom! Congratulations in advance and perhaps I'll be able to see it if we ever meet someday!

Anytime Carl, I love the vintage pieces you own. We could organize a little gtg with WIS from the montreal region. The only good thing is we won't need a stadium to host the venue, with so little people around from Montreal ;)

Mike, I got it mainly because of your nice and extensive review from last year. Now waiting patiently the delivery truck ;)

I will post pics when the eagle has landed.

I am hoping to land a BPFF in the next couple of weeks ... And it certainly is one of the coolest high end divers out there !!!

I love my FF. I feel like I can do anything in this piece and it will come out unscathed.

Super congrats!

Thanks! It probably gets more wrist time than anything else in my stable. It is so subtle and durable. Definitely one of my favorites. I even keep it listed as my profile "watch."

Matches nicely with the GT-R... Could only be cooler with a LP570-4.

Finally, the wait is over but god am I laughing. I seriously made a purchase without knowing exactly how it would look on my wrist. With my 6.75 wrist size, it seems I strapped a wall clock on my forearm :)

This one is for sale as of now. A looker but not for my size !

OK Mike, I will wait for the week-end but I was already confessing myself on audemarspiguet.com and getting ready to order a diver ;)

Let's see next monday how I feel.

Have a great week-end everybody.

Dom I'm with you. Go for what your heart says. Maybe give it the weekend to see if it grows on you.

AP is always awaiting you...maybe change it up from Diver?

I'm with Mike, I think it looks good on you. Now, don't get rid on any APs.

The diver and BPFF wear quite similar at around the 44/5mm mark. Both are fine for my 7.2 wrists, maybe a touch big for you but as Mike says give it a week to be sure.

I don't think it looks bad!

You inspired me to wear my FF tonight to the local fair with my kids:

I even managed to capture some of the elusive purple refraction on it:

And a lot of it on this one:

just popped back into this thread and saw the BP on your wrist. it's always tough to tell with such mega zoom pictures, but, since it doesn't look out of place in such a MEGA zoom, i would say it's probably okay. maybe the height + size is an issue?

anyway, size is why i decided a long time ago to admire the BP FF from afar. however, it is for sure a gorgeous watch.

That bezel is shiny. Very. Delicate even.

Just how durable us it supposed to be?

I'm not sure about the regular FF but my FF DK has a sapphire bezel, thus extremely rugged....

Regular has the sapphire bezel too and that's the best feature of the watch, makes it unique and beautiful, shimmering like sunrays hitting the waves.
