Black or white Daytona most classic?

Hi, I know that Daytona is hot, spec. in Asia (HK, China, Japan....).

The black dial Daytona is more expensive than the white one there.

But, which one is the most classic one?
Which one will you buy?

If I was in the market for a Daytona then you could put me down for a white dial version.

Slight edge to black for me. Or whichever one I could get at MSRP first :)

Although I would dearly love to own both, my preference goes to the white dial. The way things are going, trying to own both could end up being a lifelong endeavor!

Had a black face Submariner, and GMT for 17 years, finally made a big splash to a s/g Yachtmaster white face, wow loved it so much that I ordered a s/s daytona, when it came up had the choice of both, took the white face, and love it!

easy to read, most stop watches are white face for easy reading!
also found that I had to wipe black face modells constantly for fingerprints on glass,
even now after having the chance to get another daytona would take white face again, looks so much clearer and cleaner.

I think BOTH are classic, and it is a matter of personal opinion which one is most "classic" and beautiful.

I for my part like the White Face Cos best.

I like both !! I asked for a white dial because my GMT had a black one. Nice to have a change of dial colour now and again :)

Same thing here!

The SS GMT IIc and SS White Cos are SO different watches, altogether, and the white dial of the SS Daytona adds to this totally different look.

I'm on numerous waiting lists in 4 countries, I'd take either but would prefer the black one. But I will not pay over the MSRP.

BLACK. IMHO sport/professional watches should have a black dial. But if I was offered any steel daytona i would take it.

regards kk

I like both as well, but hope to obtain the white dial version. Not only to I think it looks cleaner, but also a bit dressier than the black version. Plus the TT Blue Sub will be a darker face, so I'd like a little contrast between the two.

I made a difficult choice just over a month ago when AD called between black and white. I wanted both but end up with a black only.

I'm undecided so I will hold out for a grey dial.

White Dial... I have several others (non-Daytona) with black dials. But I may go for a black dial 116520 later and maybe a blue face Sub.

Still waiting for my Milgauss
