Hands on WG Sky Dweller .... and drooled over

Went to my AD to see if they had the new Black and Blue GMT ... they didn't.
BUT
They did have a White Gold Sky Dweller.

It had a nice weight to it. The white gold is stunning. I thought it might be too big but it wasn't. I went through setting the time, date, month, jumping hour ... man! what a great watch to operate!
I was showing all the operations to my wife ... she wasn't impressed. But I was like a kid in a candy store.
Sadly, I didn't get any candy. Maybe if they make a SS Sky Dweller I can walk out with it around my wrist.
Until then, I'll just dream about it and be content with my SUB.

Sorry, no pics. My hands were too busy.
Maybe somebody with this beauty can share some pics?

The functions are very unique in how they operate.
My wife was impressed as well.
Non owner here, but a beautiful watch for sure.

I don't think there will be an SS version any time soon. I have a feeling the only reason they moved the YM2 to SS is to make this the new gold only model that everyone drools over.

I hope I'm wrong though!

I dont mind that there is not an SS version of the watch as the SS version would be some ridiculous price like 23K or something, and personally I would never pay that much for a stainless Rolex.

Agreed. Or a ss with RG center links similar to the yachtmaster 2.

Yesterday was the official worldwide introduction of the

Sky Dweller represent Rolex's complication movement know how and positioned as premium, I don't think they will release a SS in next 5 years.

of course I hope they release it now!

Did the same a couple of weeks ago... Exact same setting, I was playing around like a kid with the watch while explaining the functions to my wife. She appreciated my effort and knowledge but she was not particularly impressed...

Just like the YMII, the SkyDweller will come out in SS. Eventually.

When I picked my GMT II BLNR up yesterday I couldn't help but try the sky-dweller on too, was very impressed albeit I think I would like one in Platinum if it was available and money was no object!!!
