Question for moderators: odd "TRF" links show up in google search
I have seen this phenomenon in google search, and am wondering if these are real links or spoofing: basically if I execute certain searches on google (obviously involving Rolexes ), I receive links like the following which are indicated as being from this forum (and which, when clicked on, take you to what definitely looks like this forum), but I'm a bit concerned as the URL in the link is 55.30.73.71/(etc) instead of www.rolexforums.com/(etc):
The reason I'm concerned is that the TRF it takes me to doesn't seem to recognize me or know that I'm logged in, i.e. it displays the login block in the top right corner of screen rather than my "logged in as improviz" message: My worry is that it could be a spoofing site to snag my password....so, to quote Lawrence Olivier in Marathon Man: "Is it safe?"
