Which is the true Bond watch?

Mr. Bond goes into his closet and puts on his watch...

Did he put on the Rolex Submariner or Omega Seamaster?

Whichever one the writer of the story/screenplay puts on his wrist...because he's not real. He's a fictional character of spy novels and movies.

I do believe that depends on what year you look at. Someone here will chime in I'm sure as to models vs years but I believe that early on it would have been a Submariner, later on a Seamaster. Also I think that there might be a difference as to wether you're talking movie or book.

Most of the original bonds connery, lazenby, moore all wore subs so that has to be the original. Omega wasnt introduced as a bond watch till brosnan wore it in the 90's..

Second that. In the books, Fleming never stated Bond wore a Sub. He was probably projecting his Explorer.

omega was so clearly a result of product placement that i would never consider it an 'original' bond watch (and i own a seamaster, so not 'completely' biased :))
