FS: Rolex Sea-Dweller 1665 "Rail Dial"

Wow....Rolex Ref: 1665 "Rail Dial" Sea-Dweller ?
Ya'all know that these are infinitely fewer than the red variety ?

Just back from the Rolex Factory Service Center with Total Mechanical
Overhaul and a "Green Card" Rolex factory warranty good until July 2015

Signed, Rolex Ref. 1665 “Oyster Perpetual Date, Sea-Dweller, 2000 ft / 610m

winding, water resistant to 610 m, stainless steel diver’s wristwatch wit
helium escape valve, date aperture at 3 and a stainless steel Oyster Fliplock
bracelet Reference 93150/585/L10

The Case is made of three-body, polished and brushed, with helium escape
valve at 9, graduated bi-directional revolving black bezel for the
decompression times, Triplock winding crown protected by the crown guards,
screwed-down engraved case back and crown.

Superb Dial (and that's where all the money is) with luminous round,
baton and triangular indexes, aperture for the date. Luminous steel
skeleton hands.

Movement Cal. 1570, rhodium-plated, oeil-de-perdrix decoration, 26 jewels,
straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions
and temperature, shock absorber, self-compensating free-sprung Breguet
balance spring, hack mechanism.

Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 40 mm. Thickness 17 mm.

Rolex Reference 1665 Sea-Dweller models with "Rail Dials" Were made by
the Stern Company an outside Rolex dial manufacturer who also made the
600 meters COMEX 1665 dials and for only a two year period...
from late 1977 to early 1979. (Serial 5 million - only ?)

The distinctive characteristics of the rail dial are as follow:
The letter "C" of Chronometer lines up with the letter "C" of Certified
of the line below. Secondly the font of the depth markings are always in
italics.- 3. The hour markers (tritium dots) are closer to the minute track
than the regular dial. 4. The only version of the SD dials where is marked
"T SWISS T <25", including COMEX 1665...5. Longer minute markers.
6. Serial 5.7mil to 6.2 mil..ONLY

Price..?...At ebay I am asking $17,500...But right here at TRF My price is much lower

Price $14,000 with free shipping within USA

Foreign shipping available at your OWN RISK I will pack this watch like Fort Knox
and I will follow your detailed instructions for shipping on your behalf - as if you were here
in south Florida and shipped it yourself - usually short of the plane falling off the sky it will be fine.
