Icon20 Finally!!!

Called my AD yesterday to ask about my President M SN# and was told it had just been finished and sent back by registered mail, should have it by end of week or early next week. As most of you know, I have been waiting for 8 weeks to get the dial changed from a champagne to a silver dial.RSC in NY sure are slow!I could not see the dial well and wanted to change it, Rolex had refused to do it because the watch was too new???Will try to post pics when I finely have it in my hands. Bill

If you are willing to pay for a different colored dial, why wouldn't Rolex be willing to change it? When I had my champagned dialed Yachtmaster, I found it hard to see the hands against the face in certain light, and was considering changing to blue, before I bought my current Rolex and solved that "problem" permanently. But no one said they wouldn't change a dial if it is the same model.

that is great news for me. my wife wants a tt dj but she wants me to find her a used one so it will be a better price, she is like that, lol, she wants either the black sunburst dial with roman numerals or the classic black dial with diamond markers. that means i can find a nice tt dj and have them change the dial in it when it goes for service. i was under the impression they wouldn't alter it from original. that is great news.
