Consolidate for a Daytona?
I am offered the opportunity to trade my 16610 sub and 16570 exp II (both lug hole, tritium versions) for a Daytona 16520 or a 116520 with a slight top up on my end.
Given the same situation, would you do the trade? |

I wouldn't, but I'm a bigger fan of the sub than daytona

No way I would do that trade. Two watches are always better than one.....even if it's a Daytona.

Do the trade. It will make you happy and you'll have a watch that not everybody else has.

Thanks everyone, I thought it was a bad trade but the thought of having a daytona was slightly tempting

I don't think I would. I really like the two that you currently have. The Daytona is a great piece is it possible for you to save up for one?

It's a tough call as I have a Daytona and Sub. Both are new to me and I enjoy both equally. It's your decision and you will have to live with it. It sounds like you have 2 great watches.

Went to view the Daytona and I didn't like it in person but I came home with something else and cash to fund the next Rolex purchase

I would not but it depends on what you prefer. Still, the fact that the Daytona is only "slightly" tempting makes me think you could regret that exchange.

That's a tough call. I have an Exp II and a Daytona. I love them both. However, I'd love to add a sub to my collection. Can you keep both watches and add a Daytona later?

I could keep both and save up for the Daytona but the WIS in me wants a new watch
I would be heading down to view the Daytona in a couple of hours to try it in person, I suppose that would help me decide. |
