1969 Omega Pre-Moon Speedmaster 145.022 with dial aged to Dark Chocolate Brown

Up for grabs is an Omega Speedmaster Pre-Moon Chronograph

145.022 reference with caliber 861 movement

2911XXX serial number with caseback stamped '69

Good condition watch with minor signs of wear on case.

Dial is very good step tritium dial with long R and aging to a dark chocolate brown color (tried to capture in pictures). Subdial hands have evidently been repainted in past. Hour and minute hands have been evidently replaced in past.

Bezel is ding and dent free. Insert is worn between 2 and 3 o'clock. Dot over 90.

Caseback is in used condition with engraving worn down bit still visible. Inside its engraved 145022 69 ST.

Movement looks clean and runs strong at +6 seconds a day with plenty of amplitude. Chronograph functions works and resets to zero.

I wouldn't classify this as a collector's dream by any means, but it is a nice, affordable vintage piece of Omega's history!

Comes on aftermarket strap.
