Thoughts on the New Titanium Blue Speedy

I had a chance to try on the new Titanium Blue Speedy today (with the 9300 movement), and I have to say that I was very impressed! It's a beautiful watch on the wrist, but I have to admit that I don't know much about it. Can anyone give me an education on the watch? Many thanks in advance!

One of the real hidden gems of Baselworld this year. We had our first one delivered the other day, the detailing on the sub dials is lovely, extremely light too. Price is slightly eye-watering, however

Yes its a beauty. I tried it on at the Regent Street Boutique a few weeks ago and was very impressed with it. its light and slim, much lower than the PO Titanium and would probably get worn more because of this. Its on my list to get one day and you are right Chris the price did bring tears to my eyes at £7210 with no discount

Looks really nice. It's 44mm right? I tried on the carbon fiber dial one and it was beautiful but I found the dial too busy. This one solves that problem!

Nice, but the bezel is not ceramic + liquid metal as was found in their Planet Ocean cousin.

I wonder if the blue dial and bezel is of the same shade of colors found on the Planet Ocean Titanium?

Looks exactly the same color to me. Anyone know how thick this watch is.

16mm is not a thin watch (maybe it is for being a chronograph). I think the Planet Ocean Non Chronograph is 16.5mm. Correct me if I am wrong.

16mm for this speedy is thin compared to the PO chrono at 19.2mm thick!

Even though it measures 16mm, it feels good on the wrist; the light weight makes it far more wearable than the large PO I used to have. The bezel is ceramic BTW.

Yes you are totally right it is a ceramic bezel and apparently it has Chromium Nitrate numerals inserts in it too!.

Oh God, I gotta stop looking at this watch. I'm starting to subconsciously make decisions in my head.

Once again they ruin a stunning blue watch by inserting a black date wheel. Baffling why they don't just make it blue.

I thought it would bother me hearing comments like this on the internet. Then I saw one in person and it was a non issue, didn't even notice it. Maybe in the bright sunlight outside having an ocd moment, however inside while wearing the watch the black date wheel looks normal on the dial, to me at least.

Rolex has been putting white date wheels on all their black dial watches for years, not one complaint, I think people are being over critical with the Ti Omegas.

I totally agree, its not an issue when on the wrist, This is a great watch and again Omega pulls another master piece out of the bag.

I hate the 12 o'clock marker. Looks stupid.

BTW, the black date wheel is a non-issue to me too. Although mine is the Planet Ocean Blue Titanium version. it so comes with black date wheel with white wordings.

Now, why don't they use the Liquidmetal technologies on this ceramic bezel? Instead they use Chromium Nitrate?? What is that??
