Fake Presidential?

I am looking at buying this presidential from a local guy, wondering if anyone can tell me anything about it from this picture?

Needs some work, watch is running. I think the braclet is a replacement as the gold appears to be coming off. No papers or box. What would it be worth? Is it a fake? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Looks to be a gold-plated "presidential".

Fake, stay away.

Hey, thanks for the info. I definitely didn't think the band was real, and the crown isn't right but I was hoping for a more detailed breakdown of what else is wrong to help me spot fakes in the future.

I am not as astute as many of the forumites BUT I can attest that there is a certain "cheesyness" to some fakes that is a dead giveaway. I would encourage you to look at as many real examples, in image and IRL as you can, this will give you a kind of perspective. Your eyes can learn, that is your unconscious mind, faster that your intellect. You'll get a feeling of "wrongness" long before you are able to define what is triggering your "spider sense".
