Finally checked out the Tudor line...

...at Geary's in Beverly Hills.

Very nice.

I'm very tempted by the Black Bay. It wears very nicely with leather strap or bracelet.

Quality piece, rich in character.

Please, don't encourage me.

Happy Friday, everyone!

I recently saw their line up in person as well. Very impressive, especially the BB.
I'm not going to be a bad influence here....but ....your lips may say no, but your wrist says YES!

I can't say enough about the Black Bay. And since you have tried it on in person... one must admit, its build quality far exceeds its asking price. This piece delivers!

I've always admired the THC grey dial, but really didn't like it on my wrist. On the other hand, hated the BB on pictures, but when I saw it.., man! I'm thinking of getting one for my birthday at the end of the month.

BB is the best at the current Tudor line.

I agree... The product shots represent the piece well... But will admit the wrist shots taken with mobile phones don't really show how amazing this watch looks in person.

I'm sure that Tudor has a robust roadmap that will appeal. They're gaining amazing traction now and that'll lead to innovation and astonishment.

Great pictures...

Yes, the Black Bay is a very good buy for sure. Due to other priorities, I passed, but, believe me, it wasn't easy!

The Black Bay has been very popular on this forum, and for good reason. It's almost perfect. There is no need to rehash its qualities. Those who have seen it in person know how special it is. I like it more every time I wear it. It is the one piece in my small collection I don't see myself parting with. In 20 years I want to be one of those who can say I was smart enough to buy this watch when I had the chance.

I'm trying to come up with a reason NOT to buy a Black Bay. I've been needing a sports watch with nice lume, good contrast.

I've also had my eye on a GMT, but, the Black Bay is so nice I might reconsider. My only hesitation is wondering if I will appreciate its attributes as much in ten years as I do now, whereas I know the GMT is, ahem, a timeless piece.

Curious if this watch will be iconic and remembered fondly in a generation, or, forgotten as part of the neo-retro era along with the new Challenger.
