Serial #: 875,XXX Case: Excellent 1675 case with thick original bevels with beautifully faded pepsi insert. Case back stamped 1675 I 63 Dial : Excellent and Glossy gilt Swiss Only Underline GMT Dial. The dial surface is super glossy and the lume plots and hands are in excellent shape with only the slightest tiny chipping. The 6 o'clock section of the dial has lightly aged to a brown hue. The age is under the lacquer and top coat of gilt print. Bracelet: Excellent and Newer 93150 bracelet with 580 end pieces Accessories: None Offered at: $24,500 This is a beautiful looking Gilt PCG 1675 with a rare underline dial. This watch has a fascinating history. The owner wore the watch through some amazing adventures and supersonic flights over the speed of Mach 2. As a fighter pilot then later a B-52 Pilot he was part of Operation Chrome Dome and another operation directly under the direct control of the president called operation BOOM BOOM. The affects of hypersonic speed over large populations where not studied and the US president signed a direct and top secret order to fly at over MACH 2 speeds over Los Angeles. It was the first time an aircraft flew over a heavy populated area at those speeds. Attached are some of the photos of the original owner wearing the watch. I have not serviced the watch nor have I even cleaned the dirt off the case and bracelet. The watch is running at an amplitude of 180 and losing 16 seconds a day. I did have the crystal replaced at Rolex so the true beauty of the dial could be seen.
