Old sub and sub C prices
Looking at he prices, it does appear that the older sub and the sub C prices are closer that I would have expected.
Any reason bub C behind this? The sub C being overpriced? The Older style being more sought after? A grey dealer has the ND older sub and the ND sub C at the SAME PRICE. Note sure if it makes a difference that the older one was the chronometer certified on the dial thus being more rare. I know many Rolex fans do not like he newer sub C and have many complaints about it, but would that really drive the price down that much? I have both and prefer the Sub C, but both are outstanding timepieces. |

Anyone trying to sell a 14060 for the same price as a 114060 is someone I would probably avoid. Unless the older model has an inflated price tag to go along with the ceramic model being banged up, I'd be pretty puzzled as to why they'd price them equally. The bracelet alone is reason enough to buy the new model.
Now if the 14060 was new-in-box, that'd be a different story. Someone might spring the extra cash for that. I'm not sure I've read "many complaints" about the newer model, just people saying the like the older one better- which is a completely legitimate opinion, just not one that I share. |

Just can't believe the sub C models are not selling for a LOT more than the aluminum relatives. |

Until I acquired my pre-C, ND Sub earlier this year, and then joined this site, I had no idea the strong feelings all around the different iterations of this great watch, but...

It's funny you say this as a grey dealer here in the Uk offered me for my non date sub Z serial 2 liner then my 3 month old sub c non date. I found it remarkable but he found it all part and parcel of the watch game.

So I'm thinking a win win situation.
Fans of the old style watch their subs go up in value. Fans of the new subs can get some good discount deals on prices. |

I did a short video of the Raptor's maiden flight in the UK at the Royal Int Air Tattoo in Fairford. Incredible aircraft.

What about a MUCH older sub, like a 1680 or 5513?
Have you seen the prices on those? |

There's a screw loose on your SubC's bracelet.
I find them both as good.
