I'd go for PP 5980/1A with blue dial.

same here, i would go for 5980 1A as well. in fact i have similar dilemma with 5712r and 5980 1A.. since the 5980 1A is being discontinued, its totally worth getting.

I love the RO perpetual and can't get past the odd placement of the chrono pushers on the 5980.

RO perpetual gets my vote.
