Need help deciding between these two

This will probably be my next Rolex but can't decide on the dial. These are both a 116233 - fluted bezel, two tone jubilee, 36mm DJ with sticks. I currently have my dad's 1601, black dial stick version. I'm looking to get the modern version but can't decide between the black dial or champagne dial. Any input is appreciated!

The sales rep wasn't any help when she said to get these two for a Xmas gift for myself :).

I prefer the black stick, much easier to read IMO. Both are very nice though.

I would go for the black dial 116233.

As someone said, how do they look on your wrist? I agree the black appears more legible in the photo, but I like a lighter dial for a more dressy watch.

And I have to agree with the sales rep - that is one heck of a duo.

I'm going to buck the trend here- champagne is unique!

Black is more modern looking, champagne is more classical.
