1665, 16600, 116660, and bastardized 16600

Whether you like them or not......they are all my babies

Like them?????? Love them Jason....very nice!
Especially that one on the left.......1665 with matte dial!

My 2014 resolution is to find a matte dial triple six!

Thanks for sharing your babies.

Without a doubt that is my favorite. That golden patina, sweet superdome..........Rolex just can't duplicate such sweetness with their newest releases. Don't the others just look plain when sitting beside the BEST??

Love your collection Jason...does the DSSD get much wrist time?

I rarely wear the DeepSea. It is one of the few that I have bought brand-new. I bought it when visiting Seattle and paid top-dollar for it at the time. It had been released at Basel, and I bought it late summer to early fall as I recall. MSRP was $9,250 and I paid every penny of it.

I do love it for what it is, but it grows heavy and cumbersome in a short time on my little wrist. It is not for everyday wear, but I don't think I will ever part with it...........Of course, I am of the mindset to always ADD to the collection. NEVER subtract. I've traded 2 Rolex watches and I regret both of them that I let go. Interestingly enough?? Both that I traded were 16600s. An M-serial and an X-serial. I wish I had them both back now.

I hear you on the "add only" mindset...I have sold 3 a 16753, 16750 and a 1675 and regret them all. However, the great thing about this hobby and you can always find replacments! I did own a DSSD for about a week, but quickly flipped it as I really did not care for the feel of it on the wrist. While I appreciate the watch, it was just not for me. Oh, and if you decide to get rid of that 1665, LMK

What a great collection; the 16600 would be my daily wear, with the other three being used as bits of strange now and then...and 'strange' doesn't get any better than that!

I agree George. I have decided to wear the PVD 16600 diving from now on when not wearing the Pelagos.

Beauties, all of them. I like the bastard, too. Very military looking.

But the best part is seeing the newest adoption fitting in with the rest of the family. That 1665 that you found and restored is amazing!

I love your line up, Jason! SDs, GMTs and Explorers (all) are my favorites, in that order. It's funny that you posted this now. I was doing a search for your original SD modification thread just yesterday. Really. Its my all time favorite mod and one that I am actively considering. All ready bought the hands...Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery!

Cool collection and cool photo. Nice that they are all to the second set at the same time also. My favorite is the 1665. What a great looking watch.
