How often do you clean your Rolex, where do you leave them to rest at night?
Hi everyone,
I have a couple of questions and i would love your opinions and thoughts on this one. I just bought a Rolex Subc 116610LN and am so happy with it. The novelty has not worn off and i am wearing it every day. I before i put it on i give it a good rub down with my new Vereat cloth and also before i put it down for the day. I leave it to rest on the cloth over night. Wanted to know how often you guys clean yours and with what? and where do leave them to lay for the night? Many thanks, Monaldo Submariner C 116610LN |

Mine kinda get cleaned when I'm wearing them in the shower, but that's about it. Most of mine are kept overnight in a storage box or in a watch winder. But whatever watch I've worn during the day gets worn throughout the night. There are times when my Sea Dweller doesn't leave my wrist for a couple of weeks.

I might use a cleaning cloth before an event but typically once a month I will throw it in my fiancee's ultrasonic cleaner.
All of my watches live in a box at home or in a safety deposit box. |

I've had a 16610 for three years now. I bring it in the shower about once a week for a scrub down with a soft toothbrush and soap. As for at night, I just put it down wherever, last night I left it on the dinner table, sometimes on the bed stand. I don't put much, or any, real thought into what it's placed on. It's a very tough watch, you'll see. Congrats on your new piece!

yes
I use the Vereat spray maybe twice a month. Have been for years. It does the job better than soap and water IMHO and I especially do it to keep between the bracelet links free from oils and dirt.
I have a rabbit fur on my bureau I leave my watch on at night. |

I occasionally shower with mine and then at night, put on side (crown side down) on felt cloth which is on a sterling valet tray (gift from wife while in Italy) with my keys, wallet and small knife.

I lay mine down on it's side.
If I let it lay face up, the snoring keeps me awake... ![]()

My SD, along with my wet suit, gets a fresh water rise in back of my truck as soon as I get done diving or surfing. My others get a wash when I'm in the shower, and what ever Rolex I'm wearing during the day, sleeps on my wrist that night.

How often do you clean your Rolex, where do you leave them to rest at night?
Clean it biweekly with water a mild liquid dish soap and a soft toothbrush biweekly. Occasionally leave it on while showering also. No fru-fru spa treatment for me.
Usually sleep with it on but the Deepsea is becoming a little uncomfortable to sleep in. It always goes in an Oakley watch vault if not on my wrist. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Mine gets cleaned when dirty and sits on my night stand until the next morning when it goes back on the wrist or into the watch case.

When home, I give my bracelet a monthly heated ultrasonic bath for 2 hrs. At night it goes on the nightstand.

Cleaned as needed, usually I will just wear it into the shower. Face up on the bedside table when I sleep. I figure if they were designed as sport watches they shouldnt need any more special treatment than that!

I clean my Daytona with a microfiber cloth every three to four days and I wash it with a soft toothbrush more or less twice per month. It sits on my mousepad every night, ready to be kept back the next day.

Clean with liquid hand soap and an old toothbrush ~ they sleep in trays with cuffs.

I clean mine when I think it's dirty and it's stored in a watch box on my dresser with all the others. I only wear it a few days a week.

I wash with soap and water while washing my hands when I feel the need -- maybe a few times a month. It rest on my night stand next to my pistol.

I am constantly wiping mine down...especially the crystal. Just an OCD thing. At night the one I am wearing tomorrow is on my wrist, the other is on a winder.

Warm, soapy water and a soft brush. Sometimes, I will let the watch soak overnight in some soapy water.

I wear my watches 24/7 and clean them before I rotate to the next which is about oncew a week. I tend to clean them more in the summer to remove perspiration & sunscreen (I work outdoors quite a bit)
