The History of TRF

Being a new member and a new rolex owner.......I was wondering:

When did it all began for TRF? Who? Why? How? etc., etc.,

Thanks.

Once upon a time everybody was banned from another forum...

Their only recourse was to start their own forum........

And of course, this is the result.....

Can't add much as only been a member since November last year, but have to say it's a great forum, friendly and a wealth of information

Only bad point is that I think it's going to hurt my bank account being a member

Who? Founded by Mark - http://www.rolexforums.com/member.php?u=1 in Nov. 2004, then Steve (LOL-X) took over in...

Why? I suppose for his love of Rolex watches.

Long ago and far away there was another forum where being smart and funny and happy and comfortable became a liability to someone very decent on that forum, so he brought his decency and energy over here and some of us followed him. That is how I remember it.

Being banned was a terrible experience. It was almost like if you talked against a Rolex Sub then you were dirt on the other forums and banned.
