16750 dial question
Hi guys,
Recently made a purchase of my first vintage Rolex! Very happy with the 16750 7million series. Just have some question about the dial. Does the coloration 'pattern' looks normal? I've seen many coloration of the tritium, but all of them seems more evenly spead compared to mine.. which has some white, some lighter brown, some darker brown, etc.. What effects the coloration of the tritium? Weather and Humidity? Exposure to UV? Thank you for the information / input! Sent from my SM-N900 using Tapatalk |

Welcome to the Forum - Nice looking GMT!
And in response to your question, yes - exposure to water, moisture, humidity, and UV will affect the dial; which could be the case of your watch. |

Looks like moisture ingress in that one, to me. Hands quite corroded also. All of the above affect patination process, yes. Enjoy your vintage!

Still a nice-looking GMT IMHO though. I kinda like the "dirty look" of the dial and hands, as long as the process is arrested and the watch is watertight and free of further damage or decay. Thanks for sharing

The patina on those plots reminds me of Creme Brulee! Pretty! Enjoy
