Up for grabs is a Rolex Submariner Date

1680 reference "red" with Mark 2 Meters First Dial

2.41 mi serial number which is correct for the dial circa 1969

Excellent condition case with thick and even lugs. Nice bevels throughout. Crown is evidently original twin-lock. Both serial and reference numbers are intact and fully visible. Thick and even crown guards.

Dial is very good MK2 Meters First with even patina and matching tritium hands. There is a small scratch on dial by 4 o'clock marker that's hard to capture with camera but can be seen under loupe. Date disk is correct with open 6's and 9's.

Bezel is insert is excellent "Kissing 4" with matching tritium pearl to the dial

Bracelet is excellent 9315 folded link with 380 ends, 11 links, PATETED diver's extension, and 2.71 date code on clasp. Bracelet shows normal stretch from wear.

Caseback is excellent and stamped 1680 and ll.69

No box or papers. Watch just came back from service 4.15.14 and runs well within COSC.
