Next piece...A serial Daytona white or GMT II BLNR?

I have been thinking about my next piece. My dilemma is as follows. I no longer have a dual time watch but it would be nice since I do a lot of international business. I also have renewed my love affair with the Daytona. I currently have a 116520 black and my wife has a 116520 white. A long time ago I had a 16520 white but had to give it up. Now they are becoming vintage. Anyway...having a hard time deciding which way to go. 16520 A is becoming collectible and the GMT maybe the best watch Rolex has come up with in the last 10 yrs IMHO. Thoughts?

If you and your wife already have Daytonas, I'd go the GMT route.

Since you already have a Daytona, I would go GMT.

It would be tough for me to turn down the A series Daytona if it were in very good condition and had all the stuff.

Just got one

I was searching for an A Series Daytona over the last 3 or so years. There are becoming collectible, and they have a different story than your current Daytona. Anyway, I found one here on TRF and pulled the trigger. It's a nice addition to my collection. I already own other Rolex watches, so the A series was an easy choice. Given your current situation, I would get the GMT. I would continue to search for an A series, maybe trade your current Daytona.
